The best way to kill bosses is to use scanner to paralyze, optionally silence the boss, then bio blaster to poison, and then just repeatedly use scanner on it to have poison tick its health down to 1. If a monster that only spellcasts and does not have commands to use when muted, it goes into a permanent stopped state and poison doesn't do its per turn damage (The exception is if the monster is silenced and also paralyzed e.g. Sometimes when dungeon crawling and using only the stairs leading down, the map repeats through the same pattern of maps over and over and you never get different maps unless if you use a stairs leading up. The Asmodeus room works fine though.) In Evil Factory I'm not sure how I did it but it's possible to walk through the walls and then the character gets stuck in the walls. I was playing 0.98 and noticed a few bugs: Nothing drops the Dark Crystal (I had to modify the JSON to make item id 240 drop. Thanks for a good "back to the roots" alternative to current FF titles. and can mess around there before you descend. I love the way you start out in the overworld, etc. Anyway, this FF game is just plain awesome, and I'll probably write a review of it later. Sometime down the road, you ought to copy the classes from that game, into this one, if he'd let you. About the only other "back to the roots" FF game I can think of is Final Fantasy Worlds which Squirrel is no longer developing, and it has a bug you where you can't load save games. If I was employed, I'd donate to your development of this game. Heck FF1 was closer to a Roguelike, and FFXIV is cloer to Dynasty Warriors honestly. This is pretty much the only new FF game that goes back to it's roots. I like it better than FFXIV honestly, heck, in FFXIV I can't even tell I'm playing a FF game untill I randomly stumble upon a Chocobo. Anyway this Final Fantasy game is really great. I can make a new game in v.082, but not in v.098 without the TypeError cannot read property 'canvas'. Hitting F2 on v.082, and v.098 both show "canvas mode" whatever that is. if it's the same engine, I wonder what the problem is. Rutibex I'm having this exact same problem as Snowqueen132 too, but i didn't have it with v.082 of Final Fantasy R, just the latest version I downloaded (v.98) Are both these versions made with the same RPGMAKER engine? The file system looks the same, and menu/Fkeys are the same so.

The game is currently unfinished, but is in a playable state to fool around with. There are many levels of the dungeon to explore, as well as many bosses to defeat and random loot to collect. All of the loot in Final Fantasy R is randomly generated, like Diablo and thanks to Yanflys wonderful plug-ins, so no two playthroughs will be similar!
